Michele Salazar ~ 28 years old born and raised in upstate New York. I proudly say I obtained my NYS cosmetology license with almost 10 years of experience in the beauty industry. In those years I worked in the wedding industry. Each year gaining more hands on experience and knowledge. From working as a lead hair & makeup artist for weddings to working as a makeup artist for New York fashion week with NYX Cosmetics, I've flourished. I have worked alongside some amazing artists & brands. Back in 2017 I got to work for Mario Badescu Skincare learning all about skin & the importance of prepping the skin before makeup application. Throughout the years I've been recognized by brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Schwarzkopf & Guy Tang. I'm thrilled to say my work has been featured in British Vogue & Martha Stewart Weddings. In 2023 I went solo and I started Salt Beauty. I have gained the talent to work on all skin types & tones. I believe as a true makeup artist no matter the age, gender and or race you should feel confident as the artist to tackle the job. I've reached that milestone thankfully through all of my ventures & years as an artist. In my years of having my NYS cosmetology licnese I have always worked in a salon enviroment. From coloring hair to styling hair it became a part of my daily life. In 2023 I branched out on my own and opened up Salt Beauty. We grew and now have a team of licensed professionals to provide an array of services in salon. With a primary focus on bridal. We have a true passion for what we do.
